I later spent many years working for NASA in High Energy Astrophysics and assisted in developing the first Gamma Ray Telescope. As imaging technology grew I became fascinated by fractal geometry’s and found a delight in taking photographs of Nature’s amazing designs. As I continued my studies at the University of Arizona, my interest in Planetary Science continued. I developed a special interest in the healing psychology of joy, and the art of creative photography.
Our home has a magical vista of far off mountains which creates a perfect backdrop for prismatic sunsets.
Living in the Sonoran desert has deeply touched my soul, the serenity and splendor has blessed me with cosmic awareness; awareness of our cosmos and a sense of being pure consciousness filled with light and love.
Photographing magnificent Sonoran sunsets
reminds me of Life's continuity within nature.
Our planet is a Sacred Chalice of Life.
A Blessed event!
Our lives, our joys and struggles are also sacred.
Time embedded within Life,
life within Nature.
Sonoran Sunsets speak to us beyond time’s domain.
It’s a simple song she sings,
anyone can hear Hir, anywhere upon this Sacred planet.
We simply need to look, listen and feel in our ancient ways.
I have learned to embrace the essence of each sunset and with a thankful heart,
capture that fleeting magical essence as a photographic image.
My successes I share with you now.
It is my deepest desire that these sacred, captured moments
bring you and your loved ones inspiration and insight
as we travel together upon this wondrous planet.
I will continue, each day, to bow to the western mountains with a deep abiding appreciation.
Take Camera in hand and allow that moment to speak to me,
To bring into "our" reality the Serenity, Beauty and Spirit of Nature's most Sacred Time.
For me, its a time for calming, allowing, and opening within to a deeper inner nature.
A time to be "touched" by the greater realms of Spirit.
A time to Listen, To Grok the "higher" Voices of wisdom and Joy.
I wish upon a Planet, for joy and creativity for all.
I wish everyone every where, feels the essence of our planet flowing into their Soul.
I wish we all awaken to a profound sense of respect for our Planet.
And finally, I wish Humanity embraces a deep abiding appreciation for their sacred responsibility as Planetary stewards and care-givers.
