Dear Friends
This is a terrible time for our nation and the world.
Like all Americans, we are deeply saddened by the horrible terrorist attacks this week on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the victims of this tragedy and their families.
We present this image in honor of the many thousands of you who have helped rescue victims, comforted survivors and loved ones, donated blood for the injured, and performed millions of other acts of kindliness and nurturing for so many.
During this difficult time, we can all rest assure that the strength of the American spirit shall prevail.
America has overcome enormous challenges in the past, and we know that our country will do so again. Onward!
